Real workInside oven cleaning: what helps and what doesn't
Ovens vary more than any other add-on. A light film from a few roasts comes off easily. Years of drips that bake on again every time the oven heats up take patience, and the oven floor is usually the worst part. We work it off with eco-friendly products and plenty of hand scrubbing.
One tip: don't run the self-clean cycle right before we come. It leaves ash behind, can make the house smell, and the oven has to be completely cool for us to work inside it. If you like to use self-clean, run it a few days earlier or skip it that week.
The fridge is quicker but needs one thing from you. We take the shelves and drawers out to wash them, so the fridge should be mostly empty, or at least cleared of old leftovers, before we start.
Real workWindows, blinds and Utah's hard water
Along the Wasatch Front, hard water leaves white mineral spots on glass. On interior windows, we clean the glass and treat the spots we can reach from inside. Spots that have sat for years can etch into the glass, and those may fade without fully disappearing. Sprinkler spots on the outside of the glass belong to exterior window washing, which we don't do.
Tracks are the part people forget. Sliding doors and windows collect dirt, dead bugs and the spring dust that Utah's wind blows in. We vacuum them out and wipe them down. Blinds take time because each slat is cleaned on its own, and a house with blinds in every room adds up quickly. Curtains we vacuum where they hang; we don't take them down to wash.
Real workWalls, baseboards and beds: small jobs that show
Big households mean fingerprints on doors, scuffs along hallways and baseboards that collect dust and hair. Wall and door cleaning goes after the marks you see every day: around light switches, on the lower half of doors, along the stairs. We test a small spot first, because flat paint can turn shiny or lighter if it's scrubbed too hard.
Making beds and changing sheets is simple, but it saves real time in a home with several bedrooms or before guests arrive. Leave the clean sheets on each bed or tell us where to find them. We make the beds and leave the used sheets in your hamper or laundry room. We don't wash them, since laundry isn't a service we offer.

Questions we hear a lot
01Can I book inside oven cleaning by itself?
Inside oven cleaning usually goes along with a regular, deep or move-out clean, since the crew is already there. If you only need one or two things done, call us and we'll talk through the options at the free estimate.
Real02Do I need to empty the fridge first?
It helps a lot. Throw out old food first, and if the fridge is full, put the rest in a cooler while we work. We take the shelves and drawers out to wash them and put everything back once they're dry.
Real03Do you clean outside windows?
No. We clean interior windows only: the glass from inside, plus the sills, frames and tracks. Exterior window washing isn't a service we offer.
Real04Will the hard water spots come off my windows?
Newer mineral spots on the inside of the glass usually come off with the right product and some work. Spots that have been there for years may have etched the glass and can only be lightened. We'll look at them during the estimate and tell you what to expect.
Real05Do you wash curtains or bedding?
No, we don't offer laundry service. We vacuum curtains where they hang and make beds with clean sheets you already have. Washing and drying stay with you or your dry cleaner.
Real06How much time do add-ons add to my cleaning?
It depends on the item and its condition. A lightly used fridge is quick, while a heavily baked oven or a house full of blinds takes much longer. We look at each one during the estimate so the time and the quote both make sense.
