Walk through the place yourself or with your landlord. If something isn't right, tell us within 24 hours and we return to re-clean it at no charge.

Real workMove-out cleaning for renters facing a landlord inspection
Most deposit trouble starts with the parts of a home you stopped seeing years ago: the grease film on top of the range hood, the dust line along the stair spindles, the hard-water ring around the faucet base. A landlord walking through an empty unit sees all of it at once. We clean for that walk-through, not for a quick photo.
Utah law (Utah Code 57-17-3) allows a landlord to use part of a deposit for cleaning the unit, and generally requires the balance, with a written list of any deductions, within 30 days after you move out and return possession. That's general information, not legal advice, and your lease may set its own cleaning terms. Read it before cleaning day and share any checklist your landlord gave you.
One honest tip: carpet shampooing isn't part of what we do. If your lease asks for professional carpet cleaning, book it separately and schedule it after our visit.
Real workStudent move-outs around BYU and UVU
Provo and Orem fill with moving trucks at the end of each semester, mostly in late April and again in August. Shared apartments and student houses come with their own problem: four or six people, one kitchen, and nobody sure who was supposed to clean the oven. Your housing contract usually explains how checkout works, so read it early and share it with your roommates.
If your group would rather split one cleaning than argue over chores during finals, call us as soon as you know your checkout date. Moving week is crowded for everyone, and we don't do evening, Sunday or same-day cleanings, so waiting until the last afternoon is a gamble. We'll still need to see the place for the free estimate, and one roommate can be the contact for the whole group.

Sellers often hand over the keys after a long, tiring move, and buyers sometimes open the door to crumbs in the drawers and a dusty fridge. The best moment to clean a home is before your furniture arrives, when nothing blocks the floors, closets or bathrooms. A move-in cleaning gives you that fresh start in one visit.
Utah County has a lot of families moving into new subdivisions, especially on the west side in places like Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain. If the house is brand new and still covered in builder dust, that's a different job, and our post-construction cleaning page explains it. If someone lived there before you, move-in cleaning is the right fit.

01What does move-out cleaning include that regular cleaning doesn't?
Move-out cleaning happens in an empty home, so we reach places furniture usually hides: closet shelves, window tracks, stair spindles and the corners where a couch used to sit. We clean every room top to bottom instead of keeping up a routine. Inside the oven, fridge and cabinets are add-ons, and most move-out jobs need them because that's where landlords look first.
Real02Should the home be empty before you clean?
As empty as you can make it. Boxes and furniture block floors, shelves and closets, and we'd have to clean around them. If a few things must stay, like a fridge that comes with the house, that's fine; just tell us at the estimate.
Real03Do you do move-in cleaning too?
Yes. We clean before your furniture arrives so shelves, bathrooms and floors are fresh when you unpack. It's the same detailed approach as a move-out clean, focused on what you'll touch first.
Real04Can you guarantee I'll get my deposit back?
No cleaning company can honestly promise that, because a deposit can also cover rent, damage and other charges in your lease. What we can promise is a thorough clean and a free return visit if you report a problem within 24 hours.
Real05How far ahead should I book for the end of the semester?
As soon as you know your checkout date. Late April and August are the big move-out stretches around BYU and UVU, and we only work Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm. There are no Sunday or same-day cleanings to fall back on.
